Answer:

Let breadth = x Length = x +3

Area of rectangle = 10 sqm

Perimeter =?

Area of rectangle = length x breadth 10 = (x) (x +3) 10 = x ^ 2 + 3x x ^ 2 + 3x -10 = 0 (x + 5) (x - 2) = 0 x = 2 or - 5 Length or breadth won't be in negative values Therefore x = 2 Breadth = 2 Length = 2 + 3 = 5 Perimeter = 2 (1 + b) = 2 (2 + 5) = 2x7 = 14 m
