then length will be x+3

area of rectangle = l×b

10m²= (x+3)(x)

10m²= x²+3x

x²+3x-10=0

x²+5x-2x-10=0

x(x+5)-2(x+5)=0

(x-2)(x+5)=0

x= 2, -5

breadth = 2

length = 5

perimeter of the rectangle= 2(l+b)

= 2(5+2)

=14 m
