let length = L
Breadth = B
Area = LB
New Length = L+30L/100 = 130L/100
New Breadth = B- 25B/100= 75B/100
New Area = 130×75LB/10000 = 0.975LB
Change in Area = (LB- 0.975LB)*100/LB= 0.025LB*100/LB = 2.5 % Decrease
