the length of a rectangle is L and its width is half of its length. what will be the perimeterof the rectangle if the lenght is double keeping the width same​

Given :-

Length of the rectangle = L

It's width = 1/2 of L => L/2

Now , according to the question , Length is doubled , means length is now "2L" but width is same

So , the perimeter = 2(l + b)

=> 2(2L + L/2)

=> 2{(4L + L)/2}

=> 5L

So , the perimeter of the rectangle is equal to 5 times it's length.
