Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

54=2(2x-9+X)

54=2(3x-9)

54=6x-18

54+18=6x

72=6x

72/6=X

Breadth =12cm

Then length= 2x-9=2(12)-9=24-9=15cm.

Area of rectangle = lb

=15(12)

=180 cmsquare.
