Step-by-step explanation:

let width of ractangle be a.

=> length = 2a-55

=> perimeter = 2(a+2a-55) = 80

=> 6a-110 = 80

=>. 6a = 190

=> width a = 95/3 units

length = 2a-55 =( 190-165) /3 = 25/3 units

=> area = (25/3)(95/3)

= 2375/9 units²

= 263.89 units²

hope this helps you

let the width be a and length is 2a-55

perimeter = 80

2(a+2a-55) = 80

2(3a -55) = 80

(3a -55) = 40

3a = 40 +55

3a = 95

a= 95 /3

a= 31.6

length = 2a-55 = 7.2

area of reactangle = length ×breadth = 31.6 × 7.2 = 227.52 cm²
