Area of Rectangle is 28, Length is 1 more then twice the width

Let width be W

Length is 1+ 2W

Area = Length times Width

28 = (1+2W)W

28 = W+ 2W^2 (Quadratic Equation)

0 = 2W^2 + W - 28

0 = (2W - 7)(W + 4)

2W - 7 = 0 , W + 4 =0

2W = 7 W = -4 side can not have negative length

W = 7/2

Width is 7/2 m and Length is 8m
