diagonal of the rectangle =28cm
l=2b---(1)
.....by Pythagoras theorem, AB^2+BC^2=AC^2
l^2+b^2=d^2
4b^2+b^2=28^2
5b^2=784
b^2=156.8
b=12.5cm
from (1)....
l=2x12.5=25cm
area of the rectangle =lxb
=25x12.5
area of the rectangle =312.5cm^2
