The length of a rectangle is three and a half times its breadth. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 72 cm, find its length and breadth.​

Could be virtually anything as long as (2 x W) + (2 x L) add up to 72.

For example, could be 0.5 cm W x 35.5 cm L or could be 18 cm x 18 cm (yes, that is a square but a square is a rectangle, but not all rectangles are squares)

Answer: Perimeter of square=72cm

side of square=72/4

= 18cm

breadth of rectangule = 1/2*18 = 9cm

length of rect = 9/3= 3cm
