Answer :

Area of rectangle = 100.8 cm²

Explanation :

Given that circumference of circle is 132 cm.

=> 2πr = 132

=> 2 × 22/7 × r = 132

=> r = (132×7)/(22×2)

=> r = 21 cm

Therefore, radius of circle = side of square = 21 cm.

Now, length of rectangle is 3/5th the side of square.

=> Length of rectangle = 3/5 × 21

=> Breadth of rectangle = 8 cm ( given )

We know that,

area of rectangle = length × breadth

=> area of rectangle = 3/5 × 21 × 8

=> area of rectangle = 100.8 cm²

Hence, area of rectangle is 100.8 cm²

Answer:

circumference of circle = 2\pir

132 cm = 2×\frac{22}{7} × r

132 × \frac{7}{22} × \frac{1}{2} = r

12 × 7 ×\frac{1}{4} = r

3 × 7 = r

r = 21

.

given : radius of the circle is equal to the side of the square .

therefore : side of the square = 21cm

.

.

.

According to the question ⇒

breadth = 8cm

length = \frac{3}{5}× side of the square

           = \frac{3}{5}× 21

.

.

.

wkt : area of the rectangle = length×breadth

.

.

.

therefore⇒

area = 8 × \frac{3}{5} ×21

       = 100 . 8
