Step-by-step explanation:

let breath be x

therefore length is 3x

now,

area of a rect. = length x breath

= 3x * x

= 3x²

area = 3x²

1875 = 3x²

x² = 1875/3

x² = 625

x = √625 = 25

length is therefore = 3 x 25

= 75

and breath is equal to 25

perimeter of rectangle = 2(length x breath)

= 2(75 + 25)

= 2(100) = 200

Answer : 200 sq cm

hope it helps

•Area of rectangle = 1875 cm²

•The length of rectangle is thrice of breadth.

• What's the perimeter of the rectangle?

Formula to be used :-

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

• Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( Length + Breadth)

Let the breadth of the rectangle be x cm .

As per question :-

Given that,

The length of rectangle is thrice of breadth.

Therefore,

Length of the rectangle will be = 3x cm

According to the question :-

Area of rectangle = 1875

⟶ x × 3x = 1875

⟶ 3x² = 1875

⟶ x² = 625

⟶ x = 25

Hence, breadth of the rectangle is = 25 cm

Height of the rectangle = 3x = 75 cm

Now, find perimetre of the rectangle

Hence,

perimetre of rectangle

= 2 ( 75 + 25)

= 200 cm
