Answer: Let the width be X so the length will be 3x

area of rectangle = l×b

i.e. 3x×x=48m2

3x^2=48m^2

X^2= 48/3

X^2= 16

X= √16

X=4 m

length =3x= 12m

breadth = X= 4 m

perimeter = 2×( l+b )

= 2× (12m + 4m)

= 2× 16m

=32 m2

Step-by-step explanation: Bro its 32m2 not 36m2 ur option is wrong

Answer:

108m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the length and width be 3x and x respectively.

Perimeter = 2(l+b) = 48 m

                   2( 3x + x) = 48

                   4x = 48/2

                    x = 24/4

                    x = 6

Therefore, length is 3x = 3 x 6 = 18m

            and breadth is x = 6cm

Area of rectangle = l x b = 18 x 6 = 108m^2
