Here is ur answer mate:-
let the width/breadth of this rectangle be x
So, it's length would be 3x
Perimeter of a rectangle is 2(l+b)
Perimeter of this rectangle is 100 units.
So, here we got an equation to compute, i.e
2(3x + x) = 100
2(4x) = 100
8x = 100
x = 100÷8
x = 12.5 units
So, dimensions of this rectangle are -
- Length - (3×12.5) = 37.5 units
- Breadth - 12.5 units
Therefore, width of this rectangle is 12.5 units
