Here is ur answer mate:-

let the width/breadth of this rectangle be x

So, it's length would be 3x

Perimeter of a rectangle is 2(l+b)

Perimeter of this rectangle is 100 units.

So, here we got an equation to compute, i.e

2(3x + x) = 100

2(4x) = 100

8x = 100

x = 100÷8

x = 12.5 units

So, dimensions of this rectangle are -

  • Length - (3×12.5) = 37.5 units
  • Breadth - 12.5 units

Therefore, width of this rectangle is 12.5 units
