Let breadth be x
Length=3x
ATP
2 (3x+x)=56 m
6x+2x=56 m
8x=56 m
x=7
Breadth=7 m
Length=3x=3*7=21m

Let breadth be - 'x'

(according to the question)

Length = 3 times of breadth = 3x

perimeter =56m

=perimeter = 2(length + breadth)

=56=2(3x+x)

=56=2(4x)

=56=8x

=56/8=x

=7=x

so breadth = x=7m

and length = 3x = 3 X 7 =21m

CHECK

perimeter = 2(length+ breadth )

= 2(21+7)

=2 X 28

= 56
