Let the width be 'x'
It's width becomes '3x'
Perimeter of rectangle= 2L+2B = 2*(3x)+2*(x)
=6x+2x= 8x
given perimeter = 90
8x = 90
x= 45/4 m = 11.25 m = Length
3x= 33.75m = Width.
Hope this helps.

let the width be x..
then, length=3x
a/q,
2(3x+x)=90
8x=90
x=90/8
x=11.25
so, width is 11.25cm
and l is 3x11.25=33.75cm
then, length=3x
a/q,
2(3x+x)=90
8x=90
x=90/8
x=11.25
so, width is 11.25cm
and l is 3x11.25=33.75cm
