The length of a rectangle is three times its width and its perimeter is 96 m. Then find the length of rectangle is

let width be x
length be 3x
perimeter =2(length +width)
96=2(3x+x)
96=2(4x)
96=8x
96/8=x
12=x
x=12m

length =3x
=3(12)
=36m
