the length of a rectangle is three times its width.if the perimeter of the rectangle is 96m , find the length and breadth of the rectangle.

Hii!!
Let the width be x
Then length will be 3x
Now,
Perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)
96 = 2(3x+x)
96 = 2(4x)
96/2 = 4x
48/4 = x
12m = x
So, Width =12m
And length =3x =3(12)
=36m.
