the length of a rectangle is three times its width, if the width is x cm, find the value of x and hence find the area of a rectangle.

Answer:

area of rectangle = 2(l+b)

length of rectangle= x

widht/ breadth = 3x

area = 2(l+b)

2 (x + 3x)

2x + 6x

= 8x is your answer
