Hey !!

let width of rectangle be X m.

Length of rectangle = 3X m.

Perimeter of rectangle = 120 m

2 ( L + B ) = 120 m

2 ( 3X + X ) = 120

4X = 60

X = 60/4 = 15 m

Breadth of rectangle = X = 15 m

And,

Length of rectangle = 3X = 3 × 15 = 45 m.

Let the width= x
Length= 3x

Perimeter of rect=120
2(l+b)=120
2(x+3x)=120
2*4x=120
8x=120
X=120/8=15

So, length will be =3x=3*15=45
Width=x=15
