Answer:

Let length be 'L' mtrs

and breadth be 'b' mtrs

NOW,

ACCORDING TO THE QUESTION

3L=b------(1)

Now,

P(rect.)=2(L+b)

96=2(L+3L)

96=2(4L)

96=8L

On solving v get

L=12m

Now putting value of L as 2 in ---(1)

3L=b

3(12)=b

36=b

b=36m

Length is 12m

Breadth is 36m
