width of rectangle = 3l

perimeter of rectangle is = 84m

perimeter of rectangle = 2(length +width)

84m = 2(l + 3l)

84/2 = (4l)

42 = 4l

l = 42/4

l = 10.5

length of rectangle is = 10.5 m

width of rectangle = 3(10.5)
= 40.5 m
