the length of a rectangle is thrice of its breadth. the perimeter of rectangle is 256 metre. find the length and breadth of rectangle​

let breadth be x m

so length = 3x

perimeter = 256 m

2(l+b). = 256

2(3x+x). =256

2×4x. =256

8x. =256

x. =256/8

x. =32

so breadth is 32 m

and length is =3x

=3×32

=96 m
