question:-

  • the length of a rectangle is triple of its breathing it's perimeter is 80 m find the length and breath of a rectangle

given:-

  • length = 3 times breath
  • perimeter = 80 m

to find:-

  • length and breath if rectangle

solution:-

  • let the breath of the rectangle be x
  • and the length be 3x
  • so perimeter = 2(length +breath)
  • 80m = 2(3x+x)
  • 80m= 2(4x)
  • 80m= 8x
  • x=80/8m
  • x=10m

final solution:-

  • length =3x=3*10=30m
  • breath =x=10m

hope this helps
