Given :-

  • Length of rectangle = Twice as long as its width
  • Width = 12 cm

To find :-

  • Perimeter of rectangle = ?

Solution :-

  • Length of rectangle = 12 × 2 = 24 cm

Formula to calculate perimeter of rectangle :-

\huge\sf\boxed{Perimeter~=~2(l + b)}

Put the given values :-

\mapsto 2(24 + 12)

\mapsto 2(36)

\mapsto 72 cm
