Answer:

Let the breath = x

so length = 2x

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

60 = 2(2x + x )

60 = 2 × 3x

60 = 6x

x = 60/6

x = 10

hence, length is 2x = 20 cm

Answer:

perimeter of rectangle given=60cm

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

let l be 2b

then,

2(2b+b)=60

2x3b=60

6b=60

b=60/6

b=10cm

l=2b

l=2x10cm

l=20cm
