By Question:-

L = 2B ...... ( 1 )

We know formula

=> Perimeter of rectangle = 2( L + B )

From ( 1 )

=> Perimeter of rectangle = 2(2B + B)

=> 36 = 2(3B)

i.e.

=> 2(3B)= 36

=> 3B = 36/2

=> 3B = 18

=> B = 18/3

=> B = 6

=> B = 6 m

put value of B in equation ( 1 )

=> L = 2B = 2 × 6 = 12 m

Hence length of rectangle is 12.
