Length of rectangle=2x

Perimeter of rectangle = 36 cm

2 (l+b)=36

2 (2x+x)=36

3x=36/2

3x=18

x=18/3

x=6

Breadth of rectangle=6 m

Length of rectangle=12 m

Area of rectangle = Length×Breadth

=12×6

=72 cm^2
