let the B be xcm and length be 2x cm
the area of rectangle equals to length × breadth
atq
2x +x = 288 cm2
3x= 288cm2
x=288/3=96cm2

answer : breadth equals to 96 cm and length equals to 2x = 2×96 cm equals to 192cm2.
