let the length be 2X and breadth be X
then,
2X^2= 288
X^2 = 144
X = 12
2x = 24

Perimeter = 2(12+24) m
= 72 cm

Heya!!

Let the length of rectangle be 2x and bredth of rectangle be x.

Then,

Area of rectangle = length × breadth

=) 288 = 2x * x

=) 288 = 2x^2

=) x^2 = 288/2

=) x = root 144

=) x = 12

Then,

length = 2x = 2×12 = 24 cm

Breadth = x = 12 cm

Now,

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( l+b)

= 2 ( 24 + 12 )

= 2*36

= 72 m

Hope it helps u.
