The length of a rectangle is twice its breadth if area of rectangle is 288sq cm . Find its perimeter​

Answer:

Let the breadth be x.                                            [* Represents square]

Therefore, 2x X x = 288sq cm

=> 2x* = 288sq cm

=> x* = 144 cm

=> x = 12 cm

So, Breadth = 12 cm and Length = 24 cm

Again, 2(24+12) = x

=> 48 + 24 = x

=> 72 = x

So, Perimeter = 72 cm.
