Answer:-

Given:

Length of a rectangle is twice the breadth.

Let the breadth of the rectangle be x cm.

→ It's length will be 2 * x = 2x cm.

Also,

Perimeter of the rectangle is 60 cm.

We know that,

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(length + breadth)

→ 60 = 2(2x + x)

→ 60 = 2 * 3x

→ 60/2 * 3 = x

→ 10 = x

Hence,

  • Length of the rectangle = 2x = 2 * 10 = 20 cm.

  • Breadth of the rectangle = x = 10 cm.

Let the breadth of the rectangle be x.

Length = 60cm

x+2x=60

3x=60

x=60/3

x=20

Hence, the side =20cm

Breadth=20cm

Length =2*20=40cm
