Given ; a rectangle ;

let

  • breadth = b
  • thus length = 2b

Thus perimeter = 2(l+b)

  • P = 2(l+b)
  • 180 = 2(2b+b)
  • 180 = 2(3b)
  • 180 = 6b
  • b = 30m

Thus ;

  • breadth = b = 30m
  • length = 2b = 60m

Step-by-step explanation:

length is twice the width

let,

length of rectangle =2x

width of rectangle =x

perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)

180=2(2x+x)

180=2(3x)

180=6x

180/6=x

30=x

x=30

length =2x=60

breadth =x=30
