Solution -

Let's assume the breadth as x

So, the length as 2x

According to Question,

Perimeter of rectangle = 150

[∵ Perimeter of rec. = 2(l + b) ]

2(2x + x) = 150

⇒ 3x = 150/2 = 75

⇒ x = 75/3

⇒ x = 25

Measurements -

Breadth = x = 25

Length = 2x = 2(25) = 50

∴ The length and breadth of rectangle are 50 and 25 respectively
