Let the rectangle has the width of y cm

So, the length of rectangle 2y

Perimeter of the rectangle =180 cm

⇒ 2(2x+x)=180

⇒ 3x=

⇒ x=

⇒ x=30

Therefore, 30 cm is width of rectangle and length of rectangle is 60 cm.
