let breadth = x

and length = 2x

given perimeter = 9 cm

perimeter = 2(l+b)

9 = 2(2x +x )

9 = 2(3x)

9 = 6x

x = 9/6 = 3/2 = 1.5

x = 1.5 cm

hence length = x = 1.5 cm

breadth = 2x = 2(1.5) = 3 cm
