Given,

Length of triangle is twice its breadth,

Let the length and the breadth be x and y respectively,

So,

==> x = 2y ...(1)

Perimeter, = 60 cm

To Find,

Length and Breadth of the Rectangle

Solution:

We know,

==> Perimeter = 2(Length + Breadth)

==> 2(x + y) = 60

==> x + y = 30

==> 2y + y = 30 { from (1) , x = 2y }

==> 3y = 30

==> y = 10 cm

Putting y = 10 in (1), We get

==> x = 2y

==> x = 2×10

==> x = 20 cm

Length of the Rectangle = 20 cm

and Breadth of the Rectangle = 10 cm

Answer:

Length = 20cm, Breadth = 10cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let breadth of the rectangle be x

Length = 2x

Perimeter = 2(L+B) = 60cm

L+B = 60/2 = 30

⇒ 2x+x = 30

 = 3x = 30

 = x = 10cm

L = 20cm

B = 10cm
