Answer:

Let the length and width of rectangle are 2x and x.

Then, perimeter of rectangle = 54cm (given).

Perimeter of rectangle = 2( length +width)

54 cm = 2 (2x + x)

54 cm = 2 x 3x

54 cm = 6x

x = 54 cm

x = 9 cm

Hence, the width of rectangle 9 cm and

it's length = 2 x 9 cm = 18 cm
