Let the width of the rectangle be x

Therefore, the length of the rectangle is 2x.

Given, the perimeter is 54 cm.

Perimeter =2(w+l)=2(x+2x)=54

⇒2(3x)=54

⇒6x=54

⇒x=9⇒ Width

2x=18⇒ Length

Therefore, the length of the rectangle is 18 cm.

Let's

Breadth of Rectangle = x

Then, Length of Rectangle = 2x

Given, Perimeter of Rectangle = 54cm

\boxed{\sf{Perimeter\;of\; Rectangle = 2(l+b)}}

→\;{\bf{2(2x+x) = 54}}

→\;{\bf{3x = \frac{54}{2}}}

→\;{\bf{3x = 27}}

→\;{\bf{x = \frac{27}{3}}}

➝\;{\sf{x = 9cm}}

.:. Length of Rectangle ☞ 2×9
