Let the bredth of rectangle be x and then the length would be 2x

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(L + B )

2 ( L + B ) = 2 ( x + 2x )

2 ( x + 2x ) = 96

2 ( 3x ) = 96

3x = 48

x = 16 m

So the bredth = 16 m

Then length = 2 × 16 = 32 m

Answer:

let the width be x

so length=2x

perimeter=96

96=2(l+b)

96=2(2x+x)

96/2=3x

48=3x

x=48/3

x=16

width=16and

length=2x

          =2*16

          =32
