the length of a rectangle is twice of its breadth if its perimeter is 48 cm find the dimensions of the rectangle​

Hey mate here is ur answer....

Let the breadth be x then length will be 2x.

Perimeter=48. (given).

Since, perimeter of rectangle = 2 (l+b).

so 48 = 2 (3x)

so 24 = 6x

so x = 4 cm

So dimensions are...

length =2x = 8 cm and breadth = 4cm
