the length of a rectangle is twice of its breadth if its perimeter is 48cm find the dimensions of the rectangle

According to question, l=2b
Now,
Perimeter =48cm
2(l+b) =48
l+b=48/2=24
2b+b=24
3b=24
b=8cm
Now, l=2(8)=16cm

Length = 2x
breadth =x
perimeter =48 cm
perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)
48 cm =2(2x+x)
48cm =4x+2x
48cm=6x
x=48/6
x=8 cm
2x=2 * 8 =16 cm
