The length of a rectangle is twice of its breadth. if the perimeter if the rectangle is 270cm , find its area​

the breadth of rectangle be x cm

so,

the length of rectangle will be 2x cm

Given, perimeter of rectangle = 270 cm

we know,

perimeter of rectangle = 2 (l+b)

270 = 2(2x+x)

6x = 270

x = 45 cm

breadth of rectangle = x = 45 cm

length of rectangle = 2x = 90 cm

area of rectangle = l×b

area of rectangle = 45×90

area of rectangle = 4050 cm²
