Let breadth be X cm
then length is 2X cm
Perimeter of Rectangle=2(l+b)
48=2(2X+X)
48÷2=3X
24=3X
24÷3=X
8cm=X

B=8cm
L=2×8=16cm

let the breath be b
AND
length be 2b
therefore
perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)
48cm = 2(2b+b)
48 = 2×3b
48÷2 = 3b
24 = 3b
24÷3 = b
8 cm= b

breath = b =8cm
length = 2b = 2×8 =16 cm
Hope this helps u
