Width of the rectangle is 4 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let,

The width of rectangle = b

The length of rectangle = 2 x b

The perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( l + b )

                              24 cm  =  2 ( 2 x b + b)

                              24 cm = 6 b

                                    b = 24 cm / 6

                                    b = 4 cm

So, the Width of the rectangle is 4 cm
