let breadth be x m

then length Will be 2x

ATQ:
2( l + b ) = 60
2(x + 2x) = 60
2 × 3x = 60
6x = 60
x = 10

length = 2x = 2 × 10 = 20 metres

Breadth is equal to 'x'
Length is equal to '2x'

Perimeter=2(l+b)
=2(x+2x)
=6x

6x=60
x=60/6
x=10

Therefore, Breadth=x=10
Length=2x=2*10=20
