The length of a rectangle is twice the breadth. If its perimeter is 60 m then find its length the answer is 20

Let the breadth of the rectangle be x

Then the length = 2×Breadth=2x

Perimeter of rectangle=2 (l+b)

But, Perimeter of rectangle = 60 m

So,60=2 (l+b)

60=2 (2x+x)

60/2=3x

30=3x

x=30/3

x=10 m

Therefore, The breadth=x=10 m

The length=2x=2×10=20m

two times the sum of length and breadth is equal to 60
that is 2 times 3 x is equal to 60
6 x is equal to 60
x is equal to 60 / 6 is equal to 10



therefore length is
2x=2×10=20 m
