Our sentence will be as follow: 2(2X)+2(X)=60m. Lets start working the sentence to find X.

2(2X)+2(X)=60

4X+2X=60

6X=60 now we divide each side by 6.

6X/6=60/6

X=10 now lets prove X=10

2(2X)+2(X)=60

2(2×10)+2(10)=60

2(20)+2(10)=60

40+20=60

60=60

so X is equal to 10

Perimeter = 2(Length + Breadth)
