Your Answer is 3.3 Cm.

====================================

Given:-

  • Length of a rectangle is twice its width.

  • Perimeter of the rectangle is 20cm.

To Find:-

  • The width of the rectangle.

Formula Used:-

=》 Perimeter of a rectangle

= 2 (Length+width).

So Here,

Let the width of the rectangle be x.

So its length will be equal to 2x.

Therefore ATQ,

↦ 2 (x + 2x) = 20 cm.

↦ 2 (3x) = 20 cm.

↦ 6x = 20cm.

↦ x = 20 cm/6.

↦ x = 3.3 cm (Approx).

Therefore the width of the rectangle is

x = 3.3 cm (Approx).

Answer:

Let the width be x

length be 2x

perimeter of Rectangle - 2(l+b)

20 = 2 ( 2x + X)

20 = 4x + 2x

20 = 6x

20/6 = x

x = 10/3 cm ( width)

2x = 2 × 10/3

= 20/3 cm ( length)
