SOLUTION:

let the breadth of rectangle be x cm

Thus length = 2x cm

Perimeter = 2 ( length+ breadth)

180 = 2 ( l+ b)

180 = 2 ( 2x + x )

180 = 2 ( 3 x)

180 = 6 x

6x =180

x = 180/6

x = 30 cm

length = 2x

= 2×30

=60 cm

Breadth of rectangle is 30 cm.

Length of rectangle is 60 cm .
