Let the breadth of the rectangle be xcm

Therefore A. T.Q; length= 2x

Perimeter of the rectangle 180

2(length + breadth) = 180

2(2x+x)= 180

3x= 180/2

3x= 90

. '. x = 90/3

x= 30cm

.therefore, breadth = 30cm

& length = 2x = 2*30 = 60 cm

Therefore, area of the rectangle

=length *breadth

= 30*60

=1800cm2

Hope it helps you

Hey dear.

Here is your answer.

According to tge question the length is two times the width .

So we can write that ,

Let width be x and length be 2x.

Given perimeter is 180 cm.

=>(2x)+(4x)=180cm.
=>6x=180cm.
=>x=180/6
=>x=30cm.

So the width is x=30cm.
And the length is 2x=60cm.

Now the area of the rectangle..

Lenght * breadth.

=60*30
=1800 ans
